On Leadership -- Email from 13 July 2015

Hey,

This week was fast. I can't believe that I am already sitting here again talking for internet to you guys. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting here talking to you. 

This week was pretty good for us. We worked hard, and I'm really excited for this next week that we have to work hard. We get to go to the temple this Wednesday so that is going to be sweet. And then Thursday is my birthday. We are going to celebrate with a couple of members from the ward so it should be fun. Love you and I will send pictures!

Hey mom! -- You sound really stressed about your job. I hope that this vacation treats you well, and that you can come back from the vacation ready to work hard. If you want to be a good leader its really simple. You have to be loving, and you need to lead with your example first. After that you have to serve. The most important part of being a leader is the service that you render to others. Maybe the most important service that you can do for someone is your smile and your happiness. You have to be a happy worker, and if you are a happy worker than all of the worker bees are going to be happy. Don't Gossip or complain. My best leaders here in the mission are the leaders that have been my friends and also my leaders, and that have really been interested in my well being. If you care about your workers and show them love and serve them, you will be the best leader there is.
